To be eligible for a refund, all items must have the original tags still in place and be unworn. Any traces of wear, including but not limited to, hair (including pet hair), makeup, perfume, smoke, or other odors would prevent the item from qualifying for a refund. Please also note that our return policy lasts 10 calendar days. Inventory changes frequently, so if 10 days have elapsed since the date your purchase was originally shipped from us, we can no longer offer you a refund or exchange.  All returns must have an order number.

Ella Lane strives to select items that launder well, however we will not be held liable for any changes that may happen to a product due to individual laundering processes. It is important to follow exact washing instructions provided by the manufacturer. We are not responsible for any change in product quality if/when the tags are removed, items are tried on, washed, and/or worn.  

Refunds (if applicable):

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and send you the status of your refund. If you are due a refund, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. All returns will have a 15% restocking fee (of purchase price). As we offer free shipping, this mostly covers the shipping to you as well as the time necessary to check each item and re-stock it in the warehouse. If points are used on an item being returned, the points are non-refundable. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

Exchanges (if applicable):

Due to the fact our inventory changes frequently, exchanges will be based on product availability and on a case by case basis. Please contact us at support@ellalane.com with your specific situation. Please note that exchanges are held to the same 10 day policy and all shipping is at the expense of the buyer (both back to us and the new item back to you), with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise. 

Sale and Clearance Items:

Items that are purchased on sale or clearance are not eligible for returns - those sales are final. This includes promotional codes of 20% or greater. 

Bath, Beauty, and Consumable Items: These items are final sale for sanitation purposes.

Return Limitations: Customers are able to return up to 5 total eligible items in a one month / rolling 30 day period. If items are sent back and surpass this number of items allowed to be returned, you will be responsible for return shipping.

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs required for returning your item. Exceptions may be made for defective merchandise, and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Original shipping costs, if any, are non-refundable. Please print a copy of your electronic invoice and include it with your return and request for refund or exchange. If no directions are included, we will process the item(s) as a return with the 15% restocking fee. 

Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your returned product to reach us may vary. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. You should consider using a shipping service that provides tracking and/or purchasing shipping insurance.

Price Adjustments:

Price adjustments are only considered if a price has changed on a specific item within 3 calendar days of your previous purchase and are given at the sole discretion of the owner. Please contact us if you have an inquiry. 

Ella Lane reserves the right to add to, remove from, and change this policy at any time.
